Day of Giving a Success!

The results are in and the Day of Giving was a huge success! Thank you to all our donors who came out in full force to support our organization and the kids we serve. We couldn't do it without you!

Help Children Experience the Fun of Fall

Visit TFK at FontanaFest this Weekend

Tickets for Kids will once again be participating in FontanaFest this Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Created by PA State Senator Wayne D. Fontana, the festival highlights family-oriented activities. Come by the TFK booth to participate in the FontanaFest Treasure Hunt!

TFK Seeks Fall Intern

Would you like to bring joy to thousands of children while gaining experience in the non-profit world? Then spend this fall interning at Tickets for Kids Charities. TFK is seeking an intern to help with a multitude of activities from administrative duties to marketing assistance to ticket distribution. We work to utilize your skills and interests, providing an educational and enriching experience, as well as academic credit. Thank You For a Successful MLB All-Star FanFest Week!

Many thanks to Major League Baseball for supporting TFK and providing the opportunities for more than 2,200 underprivileged children and their families to participate in various activities and games during the MLB All-Star Week in Phoenix. We'd also like to thank our Phoenix volunteers and send special thanks to our devoted face painter, Kelsey DiSanzo, for bringing joy to hundreds of children during the week-long event.

Buy an Idlewild Ticket, Help TFK

TFK is selling fundraiser tickets to the #1 Best Family Park, Idlewild & SoakZone. Weekday tickets are available for $18-a savings of $13.99! Tickets are valid Monday-Friday, June 8-August 11. TFK Seeks Volunteers for MLB FanFest

TFK is seeking for volunteers during the 2011 MLB All-Star Week. The event will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center from July 8-12. Volunteers will help staff the Tickets for Kids booth and receive free admission on the day volunteer. If interested in participating, fill out the Volunteer Form as soon as possible. TFK looks forward to meeting you in Phoenix!

Thanks to the Heinz History Center, underprivileged kids will be attending the new exhibit Heinz History SmartSteps on June 29. The unique and educational experience treats visitors to colorful murals with wellness tips, health information, and unique facts about Pittsburgh history while encouraging fitness.

Featured Donor: LEGO® Kids Fest

Thanks to our friends at LEGO® KidsFest, low-income kids will be able to enjoy this awesome three-day event held June 17-20 in Pittsburgh. The event will feature interactive, creative, and educational activities for the whole family. Thanks LEGO® KidsFest for helping brighten the lives of underprivileged children.

Thank You For Supporting the Arts

Thanks to everyone who supported Tickets for Kids during The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Pittsburgh is Art Day of Giving event on May 11. The foundation raised more than $1.8 million (including matching funds) that will be pumped into various non-profit organizations. We are especially grateful to all of the new donors who chose TFK as their designated charity. With your continued support, we hope to brighten the lives of thousands of underprivileged children and their families!

Tickets for Kids is participating in the Pittsburgh is Art Day of Giving, a 24-hour donation match campaign and opportunity to increase giving to the arts and culture sector. Join us in encouraging the imagination of all children in Pittsburgh.

Looking for something to do with the kids this weekend? Check out the Pittsburgh International Children's Festival and enjoy live performances, hands-on activities, storytelling, and much more. The festival runs May 11-14 and features both free and low-cost activities.

Tickets for Kids was recently awarded a $2,500 grant from the Verizon Foundation. The funding was used to support our literacy program, A Celebration of Reading. Thank you for helping to create a unique and educational experience for hundreds of teens.

Thanks to our incredible partnership with MSG Entertainment and the Rockettes, more than 3,600 children and their families enjoyed this spectacular holiday tradition this season across 12 cities nationwide.
