Volunteer Opportunities with Tickets for Kids Charities

1. Tickets for Kids Charities Information Tables

Tickets for Kids Charities maintains an active presence in the community. Frequently we have information tables at various festivals or events around town: International Children's Festival, PirateFest, etc. Volunteers are needed to provide information about us to potential donors, volunteers, and agencies.

2. Special Events

Several times a year Tickets for Kids Charities hosts special events for the youth we serve. Volunteers are needed at these events to set up tables, chairs, decorations, etc., and to help things run smoothly. Our special events include our Coat Distribution Party and Celebration of Reading.

3. Accompanying Youth and their Chaperones to Events

For all of our events, agencies provide their own chaperones. Occasionally, Tickets for Kids Charities receives a special donation which requires a representative from our organization be present at the event. Volunteers meet the group's chaperone at the event and go over a set of guidelines provided by Tickets for Kids Charities. Volunteers then stay to enjoy the event with the group.

4. General Office Help

Tickets for Kids Charities can always use help in the office. Activities include counting tickets, helping with mailings, filing, etc. This could be done on a regular or occasional basis during business hours.
